Providing Everything You Need

Individual Adults
I provide a supportive and confidential space to explore personal challenges and promote lasting change. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem struggles, or past trauma, our work together will focus on understanding the root causes of your concerns and developing effective strategies for coping and growth. By building self-awareness, improving emotional resilience, and gaining new perspectives, I help you create a path forward toward greater clarity, balance, and fulfillment in your life.
Individual Adolesents
Adolescents facing challenges like low self-esteem, substance use, self-harm (cutting), behavioral issues, and struggles in school requires a compassionate and tailored approach. I help teens explore the underlying causes of their difficulties and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk openly. Together, we work on building self-worth, developing healthier coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and addressing any negative behaviors or thought patterns.

Telehealth
Telehealth makes it much easier for clients to connect with the right therapist, especially when in-person sessions are difficult or unrealistic. For individuals managing chronic illness, virtual therapy removes the physical strain of travel and allows them to receive support from the comfort of home. Those struggling with hoarding tendencies may feel safer opening up in their own space, while also giving therapists helpful context into their environment when appropriate. Additionally, clients in rural areas or with limited local options can access specialized care that might not otherwise be available nearby. Overall, telehealth expands access, reduces barriers, and helps ensure that people can find a therapist who truly fits their needs.
Fees and Insurances
Starting therapy should feel clear and predictable. Below is information about Blvd Counseling's insurance coverage, private pay rates, and payment options. If you are searching for therapy cost in Thousand Oaks or wondering whether your insurance covers counseling services, our team is happy to help you understand your options before your first appointment.

In-Network Insurance

Out-of-Network & Superbills
If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, you may still be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement.

We can provide a superbill — a detailed invoice that you submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

We recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask:
-
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
-
What percentage is reimbursed?
-
Is there a deductible that applies?
-
Is preauthorization required?
Private Pay Rate
For clients choosing not to use insurance, private pay rate is:
$150 per 50 minute
individual session. However, a sliding scale will be used to help clients in need.
Your session rate will be confirmed prior to scheduling your first session
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining expected costs of care. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
